Home is a feeling.
Gather & Stay Collective was founded on that conviction. SDA homes sit empty because most people can only see them as specialist accommodation. With a little care, the same home could be somewhere anyone would want to live. That is why Gather & Stay exists.
Tatenda Tawonezvi has spent more than fifteen years inside disability and specialist housing: building SDA pipelines, working with investors and advising housing providers. Along the way she took call after call from investors who had been told their property was a sound investment, only to find themselves with an expensive asset sitting vacant and no clear path forward. More often than not, there was no capacity to help them. Gather & Stay was built to be that help.
